About

MockQuestionPaper is a small independent tool for practising exams. You name an exam, choose how many questions and what kind, and it writes a full paper with a timer, a mark scheme, worked solutions and a rough band estimate.

How the papers are made

Every paper is generated by a large language model from the exam name, board and format you type. Papers are written to resemble the style and difficulty of that exam. They are not past papers, they are not supplied or checked by any exam board, and nobody from an exam authority reviews them.

What that means for you

Questions can contain mistakes. If you spot one, the "Report a problem" link under any question sends it to us. Treat the band estimate as a rough guide from your percentage and the paper length, not a prediction of your result.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NESA, VCAA, Cambridge, Pearson, the IB, PMI, CFA Institute or any other exam body. Names of exams are used only to describe what a paper is practice for.

Who runs it

It is built and maintained by one person in Australia. Writing, sitting and marking papers of up to 10 questions is free and unlimited without an account. Paid passes cover the answer key, worked solutions, longer papers, notes, downloads and teacher tools, and pay for the generation costs.
